About Me

My 22+ years as a Writer | Producer | Editor have taken me from an internship in my hometown of Youngstown, OH to a local news station gig in Raleigh, NC and finally to the regional sports business first in Atlanta, GA and now in Minneapolis, MN. Along the way I worked mainly with Avid Media Composer for the first 17 years or so until the COVID-induced work from home era led me to Adobe Premiere Pro. And I haven't looked back. I have also developed proficient skills in Photoshop and After Effects and know enough to survive in Illustrator. And I recently began dabbling in html and css, first in Dreamweaver and now in Visual Studio Code, which I used to create this very website!

Sports have always been a passion of mine, so the oppurtunity to blend them with my career has been a pleasure. Throughout the years I have created on-air promotions for professional teams such as the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Thrashers, Carolina Hurricanes, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Lynx, Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Twins, Minnesota United FC, Minnesota Wild, and the newly founded PWHL Minnesota, as well as collegiate partners Coastal Carolina, Marquette, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

Part of my job duties have also extended to directing talent during video shoots in both studio and on-location settings, including the frigid cold outdoor environments for the annual Hockey Day Minnesota promo shoots and the much warmer confines of media days for the Hurricanes, Twins, and Wild.
